Description:
AvePoint, a global leader in data security, governance, and resilience, is seeking a Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join its rapidly growing team. With over 25,000 customers worldwide and a strong global partner ecosystem of 5,000+ managed service providers, resellers, and system integrators, AvePoint enables organizations to prepare, secure, and optimize their critical data across Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and other leading collaboration platforms.
In this role, the Partner Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, enabling, and managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to create new revenue streams through partner-sourced pipeline growth. The role focuses on building strong partnerships, implementing co-marketing campaigns, driving certification and enablement programs, and ensuring exceptional account management to maximize growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new MSP partners to expand AvePoint’s channel ecosystem.
Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners to drive partner-sourced revenue.
Develop and implement joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies and co-marketing campaigns.
Ensure MSP certification and provide ongoing enablement and training on AvePoint solutions.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners to evaluate performance and identify upsell opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to align strategies and support partner success.
Provide ongoing partner account management and serve as the main point of contact.
Monitor key performance metrics, report progress, and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.
Represent AvePoint at industry events, webinars, and partner networking forums.
Lead cross-functional alignment calls to ensure seamless execution of partner initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or partner/channel management.
Strong record of exceeding revenue and business development targets.
Experience managing full-cycle partner enablement and success plans.
Ability to build business cases that drive investment and growth for both AvePoint and partners.
Skilled at building relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in the partner ecosystem.
Strong communication, negotiation, and account management skills.
Highly empathetic, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
