Description:
The Ecosystem Grants Partner Success Manager (PSM) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of projects funded through the Aptos Foundation's grants program. This role is designed for individuals passionate about blockchain innovation, ecosystem growth, and founder success.
As the primary contact between grant recipients and the Aptos Foundation, you will empower funded projects to build, launch, and scale successfully within the ecosystem. This includes guiding them through onboarding, monitoring grantee progress and milestones, providing ongoing support, and resolving issues throughout the grant lifecycle to ensure overall success.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive in solving problems, and has experience working with Web3 founders and startups, developer ecosystems, or grants management.
This role reports to Aptos Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Own relationships with grant recipients, serving as their primary point of contact for support and guidance.
- Ensure grant recipients succeed, providing tailored recommendations, mentorship, and strategic support.
- Track grantee progress, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and opportunities for acceleration.
- Facilitate connections, linking grantees to Aptos engineering, BD, marketing, service providers, and other ecosystem partners.
- Monitor and analyze grant performance and partner success metrics, using both on-chain and off-chain metrics to measure impact.
- Track grantee performance and develop data-driven insights and feedback loops to optimize program offerings and improve partner engagement.
- Contribute to program reporting, ensuring internal stakeholders have visibility into project progress and success metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, operations) to ensure smooth grant execution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in partnership management, grants management, accelerator programs, venture capital, or ecosystem development, ideally within Web3, blockchain, or high-growth tech startups.
- Strong understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, Web3 technologies, and crypto market dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage complex relationships with founders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Highly organized and process-driven, with a track record of implementing scalable and repeatable frameworks for partner engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with grants management tools (Airtable) is preferred.
