La Jolla Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center, a premier boutique dermatology practice led by renowned board-certified dermatologist Dr. Azadeh Shirazi, is seeking a highly professional and warm Patient Care Coordinator to join their team in San Diego, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a luxury skincare environment that blends advanced dermatological treatments with personalized, white-glove service.
The Patient Care Coordinator will serve as the critical first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for a refined and seamless patient experience from the moment they arrive. This role involves managing front desk operations with grace and efficiency, including patient check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments, and handling patient communications through phone, email, and text with speed and professionalism.
In addition to administrative duties, the Coordinator will assist with skincare product education and sales, confidently sharing expertise to support patient care and retail goals. The role also includes contributing to the clinic’s social media presence by supporting content creation and engagement, ensuring all communications reflect the clinic’s luxury brand voice.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in high-end aesthetic or dermatology settings, delivering exceptional hospitality-level customer service while thriving in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. Candidates should possess robust skincare knowledge and an eye for aesthetics, be tech-savvy, well-organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Spanish language skills and licenses such as aesthetician or medical assistant certification are advantageous.
