• making payment arrangements (cash, check, card) - using epic estimator tool to give estimates and collect payments, deductibles, and copays - interviewing patients beside to determine eligibility for financial assistance
• complete/approve/submit applications for charity car, Medicaid, and 501R - insurance verification/authorization
• updating patient accounts accordingly
• answering and returning calls
