HealthCare Support is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a well-known healthcare organization in Floyds Knobs, IN. This role offers an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who are passionate about patient care, medication management, and operational excellence in a retail or healthcare pharmacy setting. Out-of-state candidates are welcome to apply, and a sign-on bonus is available for qualified hires.

The Pharmacist will play a key role in ensuring safe and accurate prescription filling, maintaining medication inventory, counseling patients, and supporting the overall goals of the pharmacy department. This position offers flexibility with full-time day shifts (either 4x10 or 5x8 schedules).

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify orders for patients.

• Monitor inventory levels, storage conditions, and ensure compliance with security requirements for all drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics.

• Provide patient counseling, addressing challenges related to medication adherence and safe usage.

• Schedule and oversee pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with operational standards.

• Support the sales and performance goals of the pharmacy department.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.

• Current, valid state pharmacist licensure in good standing.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Solid foundation in basic math (addition, subtraction, counting).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.

• Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
