Nuvance Health Medical Practice, now part of Northwell Health, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Physical Medicine practice in Newtown, Connecticut. This is in a beautiful new multiple specialty practice setting. Clinic includes, but is not limited to, procedure follow ups, trigger point injections and referrals to therapy. Position has standard Monday through Friday office hours. Potential weekend hospital rehabilitation unit coverage is paid at an additional rate.

Candidates should be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. At least one year experience as an APRN/PA in Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, or Rheumatology in an outpatient setting is preferred and/or or equivalent nursing experience. State of CT RN and APRN or PA license, CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA are required.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.
