Description:
Aegis Therapies, a leading national provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join their team in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work onsite Monday–Friday, delivering impactful patient care while benefiting from strong clinical support, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Support individualized patient care plans in long-term care and rehabilitation settings
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams
Help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Maintain accurate documentation and follow organizational standards
Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
Passion for working with geriatric patients
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday
