Physical Therapy Assistant

Description:

Aegis Therapies, a leading national provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join their team in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work onsite Monday–Friday, delivering impactful patient care while benefiting from strong clinical support, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Support individualized patient care plans in long-term care and rehabilitation settings

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams

• Help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow organizational standards

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one

• Passion for working with geriatric patients

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday
