Physician Pediatric Hospitalist

Description:

A pediatric hospitalist position is open at an established hospital near Stockton, CA, just outside Northern California’s San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves working a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts in a 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule.

Responsibilities include managing the well-baby nursery, inpatient pediatric floor (12 beds), and providing ER consults. The hospital has a team of 4 neonatologists covering the NICU and high-risk deliveries including C-sections.

The hospitalist team currently consists of 4 pediatric hospitalists. The physician will also teach family practice and ER residents.
