ONEOK, a Fortune 500 company and one of the nation’s leading midstream service providers, is currently seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator - Senior to join its Weatherford, TX operations team. As a Senior Pipeline Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of pipeline infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to operational excellence. This position requires residing in or near the Godley/Cresson area for rapid response to operational needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced operations and maintenance tasks on pipelines, compressor stations, gas storage, dehydration, pumping, and measurement facilities.

  • Conduct system start-up and shutdowns, pigging, leak surveys, chart changes, tank gauging, and collection of liquids.

  • Supervise construction activities, perform line locates, and monitor corrosion control and cathodic protection systems.

  • Inspect and maintain valves, separators, and dehydration equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety standards.

  • Respond immediately to emergencies, ensuring protection of personnel and assets.

  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to pipeline operations, maintenance, and flow measurements.

  • Oversee or assist with maintenance tasks, seal swaps, and DOT-related activities.

  • Manage landowner communications, oversee erosion control, and ensure professional representation of the company.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of pipeline systems, corrosion control, and gas/liquid characteristics.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and other reporting tools.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to calculate flow rates, estimate volumes, and troubleshoot operational issues.

  • Ability to direct or delegate tasks and manage multiple complex assignments effectively.

  • Must meet physical demands of heavy work (lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally).


Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, handling tools, and operating equipment.

  • Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, humidity, noise, and vibration.

  • Travel up to 30% within assigned geographic regions.

  • May be assigned a company vehicle; valid driver’s license required.


Education & Licensing:

  • No specific degree required.

  • Relevant technical experience in pipeline operations, measurement, compressor/pump station maintenance, and corrosion control is essential.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly Salary: $6,416 – $9,583
