Plant Manager

Description:

We’re seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead a high-performing fabrication shop specializing in structural steel, miscellaneous steel, and advanced metal fabrication. This is a unique opportunity to oversee long-term, large-scale projects and manage a skilled team across multiple departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
✔️ 5–13 years of plant management or related leadership experience
✔️ Background in structural steel, miscellaneous steel, or casting fabrication shops
✔️ Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding (required)
✔️ Robotics welding experience and/or CWI certification (preferred)
✔️ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive efficiency

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead 15 designers/draftsmen and multiple department heads
🔹 Oversee fabrication, painting, robotic welding, and project execution
🔹 Handle scheduling, document control, inventory, and staffing decisions
🔹 Ensure smooth operations across finishing, fabrication, laser, and robotic welding
