Lead the daily operations of a high-volume co-manufacturing facility where your decisions on production, quality, and safety directly drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Projects You'll Work On
Operational Leadership
- Direct day-to-day plant operations including production, packaging, maintenance, and quality control
- Build and lead a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across a large workforce
- Develop production schedules and resource plans that hit customer demand while controlling costs
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Drive quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance, correcting non-conformities quickly
- Run regular safety audits and reinforce a strong safety-first culture plant-wide
Business & Relationship Management
- Manage plant budget and find cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing output
- Partner with suppliers and co-manufacturing clients to keep materials and finished goods moving on time
- Lead Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives to cut waste and boost performance
- Report on production, quality, and financial KPIs with clear recommendations for senior leadership
What Experience You Should Bring
- 10+ years in a managerial role within co-manufacturing or food production
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (Master's a plus)
- Experience leading a large facility (350+ employees preferred)
- Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record driving operational excellence through data-driven decisions
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification a plus
