Description:

Akkodis is currently seeking a dedicated and technically inclined POS Customer Support Specialist for a full-time, on-site role located in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania. This is a direct hire position requiring candidates to be physically present at the workplace from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will possess IT training or support experience, particularly with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems or tablets.

In this role, the specialist will serve as a key point of contact for customer service, focusing heavily on technical troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues. The position involves diagnosing and resolving hardware malfunctions on point-of-sale terminals and peripherals, addressing software and networking issues, and supporting clients via phone, online chat, and email. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

The selected candidate must also be open to joining an on-call rotation, which includes occasional weekend shifts. These weekend duties will be compensated with overtime pay (time and a half), providing additional earning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Foundational IT support experience or formal training

  • Experience supporting POS systems or tablets is preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Availability to participate in a weekend on-call rotation (with OT compensation)
