This is a great opportunity for a highly talented FTR Trader to join a growing Power and Energy Hedge Fund, composed of a team of power industry vets.

My client is an expanding energy trading hedge fund, which has a growing appetite to onboard talented FTR traders in the MISO, SPP, PJM and ERCOT markets. They offer progressive capital based on performance and a collaborative environment where you’ll work closely with industry experts to identify trends, manage risk, and drive profitability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years' experience in an FTR trading seat
• Analyze power market fundamentals, including congestion patterns, generation output, load forecasts, and transmission constraints.
• Develop and maintain trading strategies for Financial Transmission Rights (FTRs) to maximize profitability while managing risk.
• Actively participate in monthly, annual, and long-term FTR auctions.
• Stay informed about regulatory developments and ensure all trading activities comply with ISO/RTO rules and government regulations.
• Strong work ethic and determination to add immediate value;
