Description:
PowerScale Administrator job responsibilities include:
- Document, maintains, and communicates current client on-premises and cloud infrastructures
- Develops forward thinking models that support IT strategy and architecture
- Develops, recommends, and implements a migration strategy to move from the current technical platforms to the future technical architecture
- Defines and prioritizes the approach to implement the migration strategy
- Consults in the design or selection of new systems and technical infrastructure projects
- Architect, design, and implement virtualized/converged, software-defined, and cloud-based infrastructures
- Leads and participates in departmental projects, ensuring that projects are clearly defined, systematically executed, fully documented, and business results oriented
- Adherence to project management processes and standards
- Deploy, upgrade, and migrate vSphere environments; including the underlying storage
- Provide advanced technical services during the post-sales cycle
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience with Administration of PowerScale OR Isilon
- Ability to break down problems and identify all their facets
- Flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Plusses include Varonis DatAdvantage, Isilon WORM configuration and any form of scripting that can assist with honing automation of repetitive tasks, Scripting and infrastructure automation – Shell scripting, Powershell, Ansible, Terra Form, etc.
