Practice Coordinator

Description:

Amerit Consulting is currently seeking a Practice Coordinator for one of California’s largest healthcare delivery systems located in San Francisco, CA. This position is 100% on-site and contract-based, with an initial 6-month duration and a strong likelihood of extension. The selected candidate will support a busy medical facility affiliated with a prestigious California Public Ivy university.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform healthcare back office or call center support duties.

• Handle approximately 50 patient visits or calls per day.

• Ensure accurate and efficient patient communication and documentation through Epic systems.

• Verify insurance and process related administrative functions.

• Demonstrate flexibility in handling varying job duties and shifts as assigned.

• Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a patient-centered approach at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare back office or call center environment.

• Proficiency in Epic system and understanding of insurance processes.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to quickly adapt and learn.

• Ability to work flexible shifts and manage high-volume interactions efficiently.

Work Conditions:

• 100% On-site at the San Francisco, CA location.

• This position is strictly W2 only – C2C or 1099 candidates will not be considered.
