Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand pricing trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop pricing strategies for new products and services.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine pricing strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.
  • Analyze pricing data to assess pricing effectiveness, profitability, and customer segmentation.
  • Build and maintain pricing models to support pricing decisions and scenario analysis.
  • Identify pricing opportunities and risks based on analysis of internal and external factors.
  • Monitor pricing trends and recommend adjustments to pricing strategies as needed.
  • Establish pricing governance processes and controls to ensure compliance with pricing policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of pricing strategies and policies.
  • Monitor pricing performance and address deviations from pricing guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize pricing structures, including pricing tiers, discounts, and promotions.
  • Conduct pricing experiments and A/B testing to evaluate pricing changes and their impact on customer behavior and financial performance.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to implement pricing changes and assess their effectiveness.
  • Monitor pricing performance and iterate pricing strategies based on results.
  • Communicate pricing strategies, decisions, and performance to key stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales, marketing, and product teams on pricing-related matters.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on pricing-related issues and provide training and education to stakeholders as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or other related field
  • 8+ years' working experience within a relevant role including pricing or competitive markets experience
  • Prior working knowledge with SAP is preferred but not required; other large ERP exposure outside of Excel
  • Prior management experience is preferred but not required
