Primary Care Physician

Description:

HireTalent, a trusted Staffing & Recruiting Firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Care Physician (Physician 2 #25-15684) to join a growing Senior Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Brandon, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and patient-centered environment, focusing on preventative care, disease management, and health promotion for the senior population.

The selected physician will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive outpatient care, ensuring continuity, compliance, and coordination across multiple areas of healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will bring both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to serving patients while working as part of an interdisciplinary medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on senior patients.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators, to ensure effective communication and coordinated care.

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.

• Participate in the Senior Tuberculosis (TB) screening program as part of preventive health initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and detailed Electronic Health Records (EHR) in compliance with all regulatory and clinical documentation standards.

• Contribute to ongoing clinic projects and quality improvement programs.

• Refer patients to specialists or additional healthcare services when necessary.

• Uphold ethical medical practices and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical or clinical setting.

• Valid Florida medical license required.

• Active DEA License.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program.

• Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine (Board Certification preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty in Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.

• Demonstrated passion for improving patient care and enhancing overall patient experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with patients and colleagues.

• Experience working with older adults or in senior care programs is a plus.
