Description
- This contract position involves providing clinical care to individuals with eating disorders in Bethesda, MD.
- The role requires a Primary Therapist to deliver individual, family, and group therapy, manage cases and crises, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Documentation must meet regulatory standards, and the therapist will support research initiatives.
Requirements
- Provide direct clinical care to patients with eating disorders.
LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPG, LCPC, LGMFT or LCMFT
- Deliver individual, family, and group therapy.
- Manage cases and crises effectively.
- Perform utilization reviews and clinical presentations.
- Conduct community outreach.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- M.S., PsyD, or PhD required; B.A. may be acceptable with certifications and experience.
- License in area of study preferred but not required.
- Experience with adults and adolescents in a clinical setting.
- Understanding of functional/developmental age of individuals served.
