Description:

The Principal Director of the Electronic Programs Division’s Directorate V will lead a fast-paced, lean organization responsible for dynamic support to the expansion of SIGINT systems into new mission areas through architecture definition, pre-acquisition activities, application of advanced technology, and system development via innovative acquisition and mission assurance approaches. Responsibilities include working directly with senior SIGINT leadership, advising and assisting them in all areas of development of the future of overhead SIGINT.

What You’ll Be Doing
 

  • Manage the fast-paced development of multiple innovative SIGINT space systems critical to national mission priorities.
  • Provide modeling and simulation analysis, in conjunction with community partners, to set performance objectives for new SIGINT systems.
  • Lead Aerospace support to a new customer Chief Engineer role at the enterprise level, ensuring a successful, integrated, end-to-end architecture.
  • Interface directly with multiple high-profile government program leaders.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships within Aerospace common interest organizations and customer stakeholders across the IC and DoD enterprise.
  • Provide personnel management, resource planning, Aerospace Engineering Matrix Support planning and tasking, and program assessments across diverse technical efforts.
     

Minimum Requirements

What You Need to be Successful
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or an appropriate technical discipline.
  • 15 years of experience in the acquisition and operation of space systems.
  • Previous personnel management experience and the ability to perform resource planning, staffing, mentoring, performance assessments, and other personnel management functions.
  • Ability to build, lead, and maintain integrated multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work on-site on a regular basis.
  • Willing to travel domestically approx. 10%.
  • This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
