Principal Fullstack Java Engineer

Description:

Our client is seeking strong 10+ year senior level engineers with great financial trading application experience (think stock market / yields, B2B and institutional trading based applications for bonds, mutual funds, and et cetera) who are VERY strong with Java, Spring, Oracle, Kafka as individual contributors (also must be willing to mentor junior / mid level engineers as needed and collaborate both with other senior engineers / business stakeholders)

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting edge software development within the AWS cloud (S3, EC2, EKS, SNS, RDS, SQS, Lambda, et cetera)
• Work with Java, Spring, Oracle, and Kafka (high volume message ques) to develop and exposure REST APIs and integrate with Angular systems
• Resolve any issues within code base, whether from scratch or in production using Java 17 / SpringBoot 3+
• Work with PL-SQL (Oracle), NoSQL (MongoDB/RDS/Yugabyte/Aerospike/Neo4J), and CICD tools

Experience Requirements

10+ progressive years in Java engineering (Software/application/web development)

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science REQUIRED (or equivalent degree / credentials)
