Print Graphic Designer

 

Description:

This position requires a person with visual merchandising experience (preferred), event design experience, with expert knowledge in print production and some digital experience. The ideal candidate will showcase gorgeous typography, exquisite color sense, illustration skills and impeccable layout with their work. They must possess very strong attention to detail, be an expert in file preparation and have previous beauty experience (preferred). A person with a passion for makeup highly preferred. This person will work collaboratively with senior team members and must be comfortable working independently on projects from concept to final execution. The position is based at the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, California in a hybrid work setting. Remote work is allowed Mondays and Fridays, but we require candidates be in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

  • Execute designs that tell an impactful campaign/product story, working closely with senior and executive staff for direction.
  • Concept beautiful and highly creative event space graphics in 2D and 3D formats.
  • Translate approved campaign master creative concepts and layouts into various sizes and formats while maintaining the original creative intent.
  • Concept, create and deliver a strong design solution across various branded materials including but not limited to event booth, signage, digital assets, brochures, presentations, window graphics and visual merchandising work when needed.
  • Maintain and further elevate the brand aesthetic across all print touchpoints, including the production of asset guides per launch.
  • Working to various timelines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistent.
  • Always ensuring graphics produced support a strong, focused, brand vision.
  • Prepare, package and spec files for print and sometimes web, working closely with external teams and vendors (i.e., proofing, color-matching, exporting GIFs, and approving for print).
  • Ensure that all creative produced meets all brief requirements, this includes but is not limited to correct dimensions, resolution, format, and die-lines.
  • Contributing to group brainstorms and new idea sharing.
  • Expert knowledge of print production methods and techniques that help elevate design.
  • Organize and maintain project archives.
  • Communicate with cross functional departments, including but not limited to the Visual Merchandising, PR (Marketing), Events, Social Media, and Education departments in order to work through project requirements.
  • Keeping up with current and upcoming trends within the industry, pushing out of the box creative thinking.
