Process Engineering Technician

Description:

As a Process Engineering Technician, a typical day will include the following:

• Provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production as per IPC.

• Assist in measuring and improving yield, efficiency, and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes.

• Document, modify, and maintain manufacturing related procedures.

• Manage the procurement of assembly process tools.

• Train operators and support staff as needed.

• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

• Understand. Create. Simplify.

• Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you if you have:

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with the manufacturing equipment relevant to the role

• Basic computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, SQL, Python)

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)
