Description:

Product Connections, a part of Acosta Group, is seeking a Part-Time Product Demonstrator to represent various brands and engage consumers through in-store food and non-food demonstrations in Warminster, PA. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a passion for sales, and thrive in a customer-facing retail environment. The role involves demonstrating both food and beverage (non-alcoholic) as well as alcoholic products, preparing samples, and promoting brand awareness through engaging presentations.

The Product Demonstrator plays a critical role in enhancing the shopping experience by showcasing products, answering consumer questions, and encouraging sales. The role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and adherence to company and retailer standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and enjoys delivering memorable product experiences to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-store food and beverage demonstrations, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic.

• Engage customers with product knowledge, sampling, and promotional information.

• Communicate product features, benefits, and usage effectively to drive consumer interest.

• Prepare, serve, and clean up food and beverage samples using small appliances (e.g., microwave, fryer, skillet, coffee maker, knives).

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe demonstration area.

• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with store personnel to support company and client goals.

• Set up and dismantle event tables and demonstration equipment as required.

• Accurately complete online reporting and submit documentation the same day as event execution.

• Comply with all company policies, client expectations, and retailer guidelines.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

• Ability to understand and convey product features and benefits clearly.

• Basic cooking and food preparation skills using small appliances.

• Comfortable with technology — able to use email, complete online forms, and access documents through company systems.

• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple assignments.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience: 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent training preferred.

• Certifications: Local Food Handler’s Permit may be required.

• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and ability to navigate online platforms.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to push/pull demo carts, reach overhead, and use various cooking utensils and appliances.

• Appearance: Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to retailer dress codes.

• Language: English required; bilingual skills preferred.

Work Environment:

• Retail store environment with limited travel.

• Interaction with customers and store personnel daily.

• Occasional weekend or holiday shifts may be required.

• Work hours will not exceed 25 hours per week, but scheduling flexibility may be required based on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Range: $16/hour (food demos) – $20/hour (alcohol demos)
