Description:

CoreTek Labs is seeking a highly experienced Teamcenter PLM Architect with Data Migration expertise for a long-term, remote contract in the aerospace domain. The role involves leading and executing complex data migration initiatives from legacy systems to Siemens Teamcenter PLM platforms. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with deep expertise in PLM systems, CAD/ERP integrations, and enterprise-level migrations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving all phases of the data migration lifecycle, from planning and analysis to validation and deployment. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, project managers, and customers to design and implement robust, scalable migration strategies that adhere to aerospace industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data migration initiatives from legacy or other PLM systems to Teamcenter

• Provide technical input on data mapping, transformation, and validation processes

• Work closely with architects to align migration strategies with solution design

• Oversee and execute migration activities, including prototyping and testing

• Use tools/utilities for CAD and non-CAD data loading in Teamcenter

• Support project management efforts to ensure scope, timeline, and quality adherence

• Communicate status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders and customers

• Contribute to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities

• Act as technical mentor and lead for internal consultants or external partners

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

• 10–15 years of Teamcenter PLM data migration experience

• Strong coding skills in Java, ITK, TCXML, SQL, XML, and related technologies

• Deep knowledge of CAD systems: UG/NX, AutoCAD, Inventor, Catia

• Ability to lead and manage teams in a remote, client-facing environment

• Experience with Teamcenter advanced classification, metadata, and site consolidation

• Strong analytical and communication skills; proactive self-starter
