Product Manager

Description:

Black Rock is hiring a Product Manager – Aladdin Trading (Associate level) to support and evolve its industry-leading investment platform Aladdin, specifically focusing on electronic trading (e-trading) and FIX integration capabilities. Aladdin is a $1B+ technology business that serves as the foundation for investment professionals to manage risk, analyze portfolios, and execute with precision.

This role lies at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution, ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex technical and financial challenges. The selected candidate will help define the roadmap and product story for Aladdin’s OEMS (Order and Execution Management System), partnering with engineers and stakeholders to build next-generation trading functionality.

You will work in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with teams 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remotely. The position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the digital transformation of trading workflows across global markets and asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product roadmap for Aladdin’s e-trading and FIX protocol integration capabilities

• Stay ahead of market structure, technology trends, and client needs to build forward-looking solutions

• Act as a subject matter expert on electronic trading and front-to-back integration across investment platforms

• Engage with internal and external clients to understand business needs and map them to product capabilities

• Collaborate with engineers and developers throughout the product development lifecycle

• Drive a metrics-driven approach, gathering usage data and user feedback to inform strategic decisions

• Create business and technical specifications, support agile development practices, and ensure timely product deliverables

Requirements:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

• Experience & Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in investment technology (buy-side or sell-side)

  • Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and its business process integrations

  • Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and trading workflows

  • Understanding of front, middle, and back-office touchpoints

  • Experience with product lifecycle management, agile practices, and roadmapping

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present across organizational levels

  • Organizational, planning, and independent execution capabilities

  • Passion for innovation, collaboration, and solving business problems with technology

Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: $132500 to $162500

• Monthly Equivalent: $11041.67 to $13541.67
