Your Role As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the sanitary condition of the facility and to fill in for 1 to 2 operating positions in the plant. To succeed, you must be able to:

Your Responsibilities
- Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds
- Specialized cleaning tasks such as, but not limited to bin cleanings, sifter, filter sock changes
- Special duties assigned by management
- Basic process maintenance
- Cross-train in at least 1 other operator job
- Responsible for understanding and following all personnel and equipment safety policies; sanitation policies; following all corporate policies and procedures.
- Ascend and Descend stairs throughout the facility.
- Climb ladders (both step and extension)
- Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves) and task specific PPE (respiratory protection, goggles, etc.)
- Follow verbal and written instructions (English).
- Communicate with peers and supervisors (English)
Essential Skills And Experience
- Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team environment.
