Production Coordinator

 

Description:

NBCUniversal, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies, is seeking a Production Coordinator to join its Entertainment Marketing Department. The role is integral to the operational process of finishing, trafficking, and delivering network promos and trailers for various on-air and off-air platforms.

The Production Coordinator will be a key liaison between creative, post-production, scheduling, and operations teams, ensuring assets are accurately produced, quality checked, and delivered on time for broadcast, streaming, digital, and special events. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality check all finished promotional assets prior to final delivery.

  • Verify correct asset delivery from creative producers (“predators”) to finishing producers.

  • Coordinate the delivery of assets for on-air, social, digital paid media, special events (e.g., Upfronts, press tours), and off-channel placements.

  • Support cross-channel promotions within NBCUniversal’s network portfolio.

  • Act as a liaison between Broadcast Operations and Multiplatform Scheduling teams.

  • Collaborate closely with the VP and Director of Post Production, finishing producers, and fellow coordinators on assigned projects and operational duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry and/or post-production.

  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required, including major seasonal launches.

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule to meet production demands.

  • Proficiency with Outlook, Slack, and Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, TV & Film, Advertising, or Marketing.

  • Passion for television promotion with a professional, solution-oriented approach.

  • Strong multitasking abilities and proven success meeting tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail orientation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Airtable, Avid, and digital media formats is a plus.
