Description:
Rehlko, a long-standing leader in energy innovation since 1920, is seeking a Master Scheduler for its Hattiesburg Engine location. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in ensuring smooth production scheduling and supply chain alignment to meet customer delivery expectations, optimize inventory turnover, and drive overall operational efficiency.
As Master Scheduler, you will lead the creation and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) while working closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service. You’ll play a central role in production planning, capacity analysis, forecast development, and strategic material planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet inventory and delivery targets
Analyze and generate monthly forecasts for parts and finished goods to support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
Monitor and improve top-level supply chain metrics; develop and track supporting KPIs
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure schedule feasibility and resolve bottlenecks
Drive the monthly operations planning process and report scheduling performance to senior leadership
Manage new product scheduling and phase-outs to control inventory and avoid obsolescence
Interface with vendors and customers to ensure timely part delivery and resolve scheduling conflicts
Support SAP implementation and serve as a functional resource during integration and training
Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Clean Air Act, California Code)
Participate in physical inventory counts and continuous improvement efforts
Lead and guide Production Planners/Schedulers in schedule adherence and issue resolution
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Planning or Scheduling
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; statistical analysis experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and process improvement capabilities
Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
