Production Team Lead

Description:

CSG is seeking a Team Captain – Day Shift to join its dynamic production operations team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring all workload requirements are met within contractual service level agreements (SLAs). You will lead by example, supporting production staff, maintaining process compliance, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple shifts.

As a Team Captain, you will act as a bridge between management and production staff, guiding daily assignments, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring smooth execution of all insert machine processes. You will play an active role in team training, process improvement, and implementation of new production strategies to optimize efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and balance daily workloads to ensure compliance with all contractual SLAs.

• Oversee production activities and ensure adherence to established process standards.

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical and operational queries related to insert machines.

• Provide detailed guidance to team members on production processes and machine operations.

• Handle daily staff assignments and operational situations in the absence of a supervisor.

• Lead and assist in the training of new hires, ensuring they are fully equipped to meet performance standards.

• Identify and recommend product or process improvements to enhance departmental success.

• Monitor attendance, performance, and workflow to ensure maximum productivity.

• Maintain accurate production reports and communicate any operational concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inserting or production operations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overtime when required.

• Must meet attendance expectations and successfully pass background and drug screening.

• Fluency in English in a professional work environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in supervising or leading a production or warehouse team.

• Strong understanding of process efficiency, workflow management, and operational troubleshooting.
