Description:

SAL Consulting, LLC is a Brooklyn-based educational consulting firm dedicated to enhancing the work of educators, schools, and organizations through professional development, curriculum design, and global education programs. They offer a part-time Project Assistant Internship for the academic year 2025–2026, ideally suited for undergraduate students eager to explore the world of education, communications, or nonprofit strategy.

This hybrid internship provides flexible hours and a hands-on opportunity to support a growing education consultancy in a wide range of functional areas including logistics, communications, course development, and internal operations. It offers both hourly compensation and the option to receive college credit.

Key Responsibilities:

Course & Content Development:

  • Assist in designing and developing educational courses.

  • Support podcast production through research and guest coordination.

  • Schedule client and partner meetings and recordings.

Event & Meeting Logistics:

  • Provide AV and logistical support for in-person events.

  • Secure venues and manage scheduling for professional development sessions.

Communications & Outreach:

  • Manage outreach communications for events and campaigns.

  • Help grow SAL’s client base through outreach efforts.

  • Draft external-facing materials such as flyers and graphics.

Administrative & Internal Operations:

  • Update databases and manage internal task tracking tools.

  • Organize and maintain contact information.

  • Manage content updates on the WordPress site.

  • Coordinate shared calendars and meeting schedules.

Candidate Profile:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree (3rd or 4th year preferred), majoring in Education, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.

  • Interested in an administrative internship with learning potential in communications and business operations.

  • Capable of working independently with attention to detail.

  • Comfortable with or willing to learn tools such as Google Suite, Airtable, Notion, Mailchimp.

  • Based in or able to commute to DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY.

  • Motivated, curious, and systems-oriented with an interest in supporting a mission-driven organization.
