Description:
Our Project Management Support Internship is a temporary role designed to prepare college students for entry into the workforce through hands‑on experience and training aligned with both their field of study and the needs of our business. This opportunity is open to rising juniors and seniors who are available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provide project management support for complex IT and Software Systems engineering projects.
- Coordinate with internal leaders to determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases, resource requirements, and other necessary elements.
- Assist in maintaining project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
- Provide support in coordinating amongst various teams in different engineering disciplines to present a unified, integrated product to project stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
- In support of assigned functional area, perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility.
- Identify, analyze, and capture project specific lessons learned.
- Perform work that is pertinent to field study.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 40% and 60% of the required credits completed.
- Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher while participating in this internship.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance.
