Project Manager

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Industrial Automation to oversee Automation Projects related to Body-In-White (BIW), Welding, Powertrain, Battery Pack, Engine, and EV Battery Assembly for major Automotive OEMs. The role requires end-to-end project management from design through integration while ensuring the project remains within budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Project Management: Lead automation projects involving automated machining lines & machine tending applications.
✅ Automation System Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of Powertrain Automation Systems, from design, manufacturing, build, to integration milestones.
✅ Budget & Timeline Management: Ensure successful project execution within budgetary and scheduling constraints.
✅ Customer Collaboration: Work with Automotive OEMs to deliver automation solutions in Welding, BIW, Powertrain, Chassis, Tire & Wheel, and Battery Assembly.
✅ Risk Management: Identify potential risks in project documentation, specifications, proposals, and contracts.
✅ Change Orders: Conceptualize, draft, and quote after-sales change order requests (OCRs).
✅ Installation & Support: Lead debugging, run-off, installation, training, and startup activities at customer sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Minimum 6 years of experience in project management (4+ years specifically in automation assembly projects).
✔ Experience working with Automotive OEMs in Welding, BIW, Powertrain, and Chassis Automation.
✔ Strong understanding of automation systems, machining lines, and machine tending applications.
✔ Ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
✔ Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
