Project Manager

Description:

Meta’s Product Data Operations (PDO) team is essential in powering machine learning and AI across Meta’s products by managing data labeling and annotation programs. As a Project Manager on the PDO team, you will manage multiple data annotation projects end-to-end, lead vendor teams, and work cross-functionally to improve workflows and data quality. This role demands strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive success and operational excellence at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple data labeling and annotation projects from start to finish.

• Own project success metrics and timelines.

• Oversee day-to-day workflows and performance metrics of vendor teams responsible for data labeling.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to build datasets supporting Product and Engineering teams.

• Collect, analyze results, and provide actionable insights.

• Establish team goals and strategize execution plans with stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve workflow issues to improve quality.

• Recommend and implement tooling improvements and scalable solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience in consumer product environments, consulting, or operations roles.

• Proven ability to work independently with initiative.

• Strong communication, presentation, and project management reporting skills.

• Experience in analyzing and solving complex problems.

• Proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL.

• Familiarity with Meta Reality Labs products.

• Experience working with large data sets.
