Worthington Design & Remodeling, a highly respected full-service residential design/build firm based in central Indiana, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join its growing team. Focused on interior and exterior remodeling projects throughout the Northside Indianapolis area, this role provides a dynamic opportunity for professionals passionate about construction management, design implementation, and client satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of residential remodeling projects. You will ensure that each project is executed according to plan, budget, and timeline, while maintaining a superior client experience. This is an on-site role with no out-of-town travel, allowing for a strong life/work balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring alignment with design goals, budgets, and timelines.

• Conduct routine job-site visits to evaluate progress, resolve issues, and uphold workmanship quality.

• Communicate regularly with clients, offering status updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring complete transparency.

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, in-house staff, material vendors, and delivery services to avoid project delays.

• Procure materials and services needed for each project and ensure timely logistics.

• Monitor project budgets, perform cost tracking, prepare invoices, and maintain financial oversight of assigned jobs.

• Collaborate with the design and sales teams by providing pre-construction pricing, value engineering insights, and construction feasibility feedback.

• Manage office-related project tasks including document tracking, compliance, and scheduling, using tools like Buildertrend.

• Cultivate a team-oriented, productive work culture both on-site and internally.

• Meet performance goals measured by job profitability, on-time delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.

Success Factors:

• 2+ years of project management experience required; residential design/build background preferred.

• Open to experienced Project Managers from other industries such as event management, provided they have strong organizational and execution skills.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree required; preferred areas of study include Construction Management, Residential Design, or related disciplines.

• Sound understanding of residential construction processes and terminology.

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service abilities to foster long-term client relationships.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with construction job costing software is a plus. Familiarity with Buildertrend is highly desirable.

• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented with a results-focused mindset.

• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually (equivalent to $6250 – $7500 per month).
