Project Manager

Description:

Signature IT World Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiatives related to compliance, privacy, and data governance in their New York office. This is an on-site, contract-based position ideal for professionals with a strong background in SaaS implementations, data governance frameworks, and stakeholder communication across global environments.

The role is a hybrid of project management (65%) and business analysis (35%), demanding both strategic oversight and detailed execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management – 65%

• Develop detailed project plans with tasks, deadlines, and resource allocations.

• Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely project delivery.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders and manage expectations.

• Monitor budgets and maintain financial control.

• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams for system resolution.

• Estimate time requirements and project phases.

• Facilitate strategic meetings with senior leadership to establish scope and roadmap.

• Ensure systems support and delivery are uninterrupted.

• Implement governance protocols, process designs, and operational tools.

• Develop training materials and conduct sessions where needed.

Business Analysis – 35%

• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable plans.

• Document current and future state processes to identify improvement opportunities.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including test cases and validation results.

• Conduct testing to ensure solutions align with business needs and usability standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least 4 years of combined project management and business analysis experience.

• Proven experience in SaaS implementations and stakeholder engagement.

• Global work experience, including virtual collaboration across time zones.

• Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

• Technical acumen with a strong grasp of IT systems and data processing.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service orientation.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

• Able to manage high-pressure workloads and shifting priorities effectively.

• Highly detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
