Project Performance & Resource Management Advisor

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Advisor for Project Performance & Resource Management to support one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. This role is part of the Transmission & Substation Project Development (TSPD) team and focuses on managing and improving project performance, resource scheduling, and reporting within transmission, subtransmission, and substation projects.

The Advisor will support metrics, dashboards, scheduling, and other analyst duties to help transition projects effectively between prior sponsors and TSPD Project Sponsors. This involves researching outstanding projects to confirm their viability, coordinating with sponsors to transition or cancel projects, and developing schedules for project handoffs with a target completion by the end of 2025.

Additional responsibilities include facilitating project intake processes, tracking project progress through key deliverables such as Project Development Reports, Risk Assessments, and cost/schedule estimates. The role also involves analyzing company performance metrics (financial, operational, and customer KPIs), maintaining performance dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders to align performance goals with business objectives, and recommending improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably 7+ years of experience in performance data analysis, reporting, or related business operations analysis, and experience with Copperleaf C55 software is preferred.
