Project Scheduler

Description:

BNW Services is actively seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join a leading electrical contractor based in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, preferably with experience in electrical contracting or as part of a general contractor or subcontractor team. Experience in healthcare, water, or wastewater projects is considered a valuable asset. This role requires proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules, including baseline schedules, using Primavera and Microsoft Project.

• Review and analyze general contractor-issued monthly schedules and short-term look-ahead schedules (3–6 weeks).

• Provide regular progress reports, health assessments, and risk evaluations to project teams and management.

• Incorporate change orders and perform time impact analyses to evaluate schedule adjustments.

• Identify critical paths, milestones, and variances from baseline schedules to track project performance.

• Coordinate and communicate schedule details with owners, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment.

• Support QA/QC and commissioning schedules in accordance with contract milestones.

• Travel between the office and job sites 25–50% of the time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of project scheduling experience in construction, preferably in electrical contracting.

• Experience in ground-up construction projects; healthcare, water, or wastewater projects a plus.

• Background with general contractors or other subcontractors is required at a minimum.

• Proficient in Primavera, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.

• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000, depending on experience.
