Proposal Financial Analyst

Frontgrade Technologies, a leader in high-reliability and radiation-assured technology solutions for defense, aerospace, intelligence, civil, and commercial sectors, is seeking a Proposal Financial Analyst III. For over 60 years, Frontgrade has delivered mission-critical solutions for human spaceflight, missile defense, electronic warfare, and healthcare innovations. This role is critical in shaping accurate, compliant, and competitive pricing for government and commercial contracts.

As a Proposal Financial Analyst III, you will be responsible for developing detailed cost/price models, estimating labor, materials, and subcontracted work, and collaborating with subject matter experts and project managers to prepare compliant Basis of Estimate (BOE) justifications. You will lead strategic pricing approaches, align cost strategies with win themes, and work closely with capture and proposal teams to produce realistic pricing schedules. The role also involves supporting cost realism assessments, preparing pricing narratives, and effectively communicating methodologies and strategies to stakeholders.

Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills, along with an understanding of contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.). The position requires the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, collaborate across geographically dispersed teams, and contribute to competitive proposal development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years in pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis (government contracting preferred).

• Knowledge of government contract types and compliance requirements.

• Strong Excel, financial modeling, and analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
