Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Description:

This is a part-time role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Monarch Psychiatric NP PLLC. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing mental health nursing care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy services. The role may require in-person visits for the purposes of prescribing controlled substances per federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners with specialization in mental health
• Experience in mental health care and psychiatric care
• Strong nursing skills and knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to patients' needs
• Active and good standing NY State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
• Additional certifications in psychiatric nursing or mental health counseling are a plus
• NY DEA license
• ANCC Board-certified certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience, at least 3600 hours in specialty
• Must live in NY, FL, or PR

Shift

• Weeknights, flexible, between 4-9pm
• Saturdays, flexible, 8am-1pm
