Psychiatrist

Description:

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and education for patients of all ages, including children and adolescents. Beyond direct patient care, you will provide essential clinical supervision for our team of one full-time and two part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, while helping shape agency policies for our prescribers.

We are looking for a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist with a heart for community health. Your qualifications should include:
 

• Medical degree with completed residency in child, adolescent, or adult psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License and DEA registration.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with both adults and children in a mental health setting.
• Experience working with populations suffering from addiction (highly preferred).
