Qa Lead

Description:

We are looking for a QA Lead with DevOps for a 6+ remote month project.

Establish QA Methodology: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for a new software development team.

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Support the design, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Shift-Left Testing Support: Promote and implement shift-left testing practices, ensuring early detection of defects through unit, smoke, regression, and integration testing to ensure a seamless handoff to production teams.

AI and Machine Learning Projects: Collaborate with data scientists to support AI-related projects, ensuring the quality of outputs from large language models (LLMs) and preventing the generation of sensitive or harmful information.

DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to complete the DevOps cycle, focusing on development work rather than production support.

Production Handoff Coordination: Collaborate with the production team to establish clear roles and responsibilities for project handoffs.

Data Platform Expertise: Utilize platforms like Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake for testing and validating data workflows.

Security Understanding: Apply knowledge of security tools such as Wiz and Prisma to enhance application security.

Code Quality Assurance: Use tools like SonarQube to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Experience:

Proven experience as a QA Analyst in a software development environment.

Experience with CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Strong understanding of shift-left testing methodologies.
