Mercy Health, a faith-based and patient-focused healthcare organization, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and care. The Radiologic Technologist will work under the direction of authorized medical practitioners, applying diagnostic imaging techniques and ensuring safe use of ionizing radiation. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and document patients’ clinical history and relevant lab work for practitioner use

  • Position and immobilize patients to optimally visualize anatomical areas, respecting patient comfort

  • Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others

  • Operate imaging equipment and associated accessories to perform radiographic procedures

  • Verify informed consent and maintain thorough pre- and post-procedure documentation

  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures

  • Apply aseptic surgical technique as required

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)

  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)

  • State licensure (preferred, unless mandated by state law)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association (required, must be obtained prior to direct patient care)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Patient-centered care approach

  • Ability to monitor patient conditions during examinations

  • Record and manage patient medical histories

  • Collaborative work within an interdisciplinary team

  • Attention to detail and critical thinking

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)

  • Experience with Radiology Information Systems (preferred)
