Responsibilities

The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise.

The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own.

This position is responsible for operating multiple types of forklift equipment and ability to operate within a rack warehouse environment.

Forklift operator needs to be able to operate sit-down, clamp, cherry and reach equipment.

Forklift certification required on all four pieces of equipment.

Computer skills are neccesary for adequate work

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
