Description:
Lyndex-Nikken, a globally recognized manufacturer and supplier of precision toolholders, rotary tables, and machining accessories, is seeking a Product Specialist for its Rotary Table product line. The main purpose of this position is to oversee service and installation efforts for the rotary table product line, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. This role will manage day-to-day service operations, including field installations, technical troubleshooting, warranty coordination, and customer support. The Product Specialist will also coordinate with sales teams, vendors, and service technicians to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical troubleshooting and resolve warranty-related issues for the rotary table product line.
Deliver excellent customer service through prompt communication and proactive support.
Manage service ticket processes, escalation handling, and installation project tracking.
Ensure availability of service tools, spare parts, and replacement components.
Maintain accurate service logs, installation documentation, and CRM reporting.
Act as the first point of contact for sales staff, customers, and vendors on technical matters.
Coordinate field installation work and supervise service efforts.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to communicate technical issues clearly with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Skilled in managing multiple project data files and ensuring information security.
Team-oriented mindset with ability to work with engineers, technicians, and contractors.
Strong relationship-building skills to gather information and resolve challenges effectively.
Experience & Training Requirements:
At least 5 years of direct customer service experience in technical/mechanical service roles.
Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
Monthly salary range: 4166 USD – 6250 USD, plus bonus and commission opportunities.
