Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is an independent, nonprofit organization recognized globally for its excellence in adult cancer treatment, research, and prevention of infectious diseases. Fred Hutch operates eight clinical care sites providing oncology, infusion, radiation, and proton therapy, with an integrated approach that combines research and clinical care to discover cures and improve lives.

The Registered Nurse – Radiology will be a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, delivering patient-centered care that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment. This role emphasizes collaboration, compassion, innovation, and excellence in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical, emotional, social, and spiritual assessments and evaluate patient adaptation to health changes.

• Develop individualized care plans based on disease, symptoms, and treatment response.

• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding disease processes, treatments, side effects, and symptom management.

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless care transitions.

• Refer patients and families to appropriate clinical resources (social work, nutrition, home health, etc.).

• Implement and continuously evaluate care plans.

• Integrate research and evidence-based knowledge into daily nursing practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Current Washington State RN license or NLC multistate license (with upgrade to WA within 60 days of hire, unless waived).

• Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent).

• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• At least 2 years of prior nursing experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay range: 45.35 – 84.80 USD/hour (≈ 7,856 – 14,685 USD/month).

• Step-scale pay with eligibility for shift differentials, preceptor pay, certification premiums, and advanced degree premiums.
