Description:
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its brand-new Off-Campus Emergency Department (OCED) in Lynnwood, Washington, opening this fall. This new OCED will provide 24/7 emergency-level care in a fast-paced and highly collaborative clinical environment. Built upon the proven success model used by MultiCare across Washington State, the OCED will deliver efficient, high-quality emergency care to the Lynnwood community.
The RN will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, safety, and compassion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a new facility’s foundational team, contributing to its success from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established hospital protocols and professional nursing standards.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions throughout treatment.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, emergency staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient documentation.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding care plans.
Uphold all safety, infection control, and emergency response procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing (BSN preferred).
Current WA State RN license required.
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Recent or current Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills essential.
