Registered Nurse

Description:

Third Street Family Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Health & Wellness Center, specializing in psychological and mental health care. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a collaborative environment with a focus on comprehensive, patient-centered health services. The position is available as full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history

• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed

• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient needs

• Perform medical procedures such as wound care, blood draws, IV therapy, and specimen collection

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations

• Conduct diagnostic and laboratory tests, including EKG, urine tests, and more

• Assist in the coordination of specialty clinics like pediatrics, dermatology, and telemedicine

• Provide support for complex medical cases, including referrals and follow-up care

• Educate patients about procedures and treatments to ensure understanding and cooperation

• Respond to emergency situations based on nursing standards and protocols

• Serve as a resource for new staff and students, and provide clinical and administrative support

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Registered Nursing License

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Experience in nursing (preferred but not required)
