Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its diagnostic imaging team in New York, NY. This is a contract-based, on-site role working day shifts, primarily structured as four 12-hour shifts per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding patient care in a high-tech radiology setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and professional excellence at every stage of the imaging process.

As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, the selected nurse will work closely with board-certified physicians specializing in various sub-fields of medical imaging. Your clinical expertise, professionalism, and ability to multitask will play a vital role in delivering effective and empathetic care to patients undergoing imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer IV contrast injections accurately and safely in preparation for diagnostic imaging procedures.

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs during imaging and interventional procedures.

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring patient comfort and readiness.

• Perform routine checks and maintenance of emergency medical equipment, reporting any irregularities promptly.

• Manage and respond to patient concerns or complications during procedures with speed and professionalism.

• Demonstrate consistent problem-solving skills, gathering and analyzing relevant data for efficient resolution.

• Maintain an empathetic, courteous, and respectful attitude in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Adapt quickly to changing workloads or emergencies, showing flexibility and resilience under pressure.

• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed thoroughly, on time, and with a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable in the Northeastern United States.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in a radiology or diagnostic imaging environment.
