Duties And Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff.
- Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic.
- Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager.
- The Registered Nurse II assists in the medical care and treatment of students.
- Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assist with student physicals.
- Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart.
- Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies
- Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel .
Qualifications
- State Registered Nurse’s License and one year’s experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state where the center is located.
- Prefer two or more years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
