Description:

CGI, one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting services firms, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma VMX-1 Operational Test Squadron in Arizona. This role will focus on providing reliability, maintainability, logistic supportability, and availability (RMLA) expertise in support of airframe testing, operational assessments, and system performance evaluations.

The candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, test planners, and project management teams to design, coordinate, and execute reliability work essential to ensuring systems meet U.S. Marine Corps reliability and maintainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and support the conduction of operational tests, monitoring reliability factors such as causes and frequency of unit failures.

  • Decode and analyze test data, generating detailed reports that document reliability and maintainability findings.

  • Develop and implement reliability engineering designs, models, and programs to support system performance analysis.

  • Collaborate with military and engineering personnel to ensure compliance with operational testing standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance (mandatory).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in operational testing support.

  • Proficiency in reliability block diagrams, system reliability assessments, and component reliability predictions.

Desired Skills (Preferred):

  • Six Sigma Engineering certification or training.

  • Completion of the Operational Test Fundamentals Course.

  • Competitive salary range: $69,700 – $154,300 annually (equivalent to $5,808 – $12,858 monthly).
